Physicians’ Week 2024

NMA Bayelsa State Branch held it's Annual Physicians' Week from Sunday, 27th October to Saturday, 2nd November, 2024. The activities marking our physicians' week included: Day 1 - thanksgiving service. Day 2 - Press conference, Lecture on the topic Venous Thromboembolism. The lecture was presented by Dr. Emmanuel Edafe (consultant cardiologist/interventional cardiologist) and was supported by Pfizer. Day 3 - Free Medical Check-up. Day 4 - Visit to an orphanage. Day 5 - Novelty football match. Unfortunately, following the sudden demise of one of our colleague's, some of the activities were suspended and the others were held in a sombre mood
